Scholarship Applications due April 30th
The Findlay Elks offers 3 scholarships annually. The application is due by April 30th and can be found HERE.
- Findlay Elks Scholarships are available to any child or grandchild of a Findlay Elk. The scholarships are available to High school seniors through College Juniors. The number and amount of scholarships vary according to how well the trust scholarships do.
- Countrymen scholarships are available to High school seniors through college juniors. The number and amount of scholarships vary according to how well the trust scholarships do.
- Doepker Leaver Scholarships are available to high school seniors who will be undergoing technical training after high school.
Euchre night is back!
Do you like to play euchre? Friday nights at 7PM the cards will fly. Cost is $1 per person and the winner gets the loot. Beginners welcome. Contact Tom Fitzpatrick with any questions.
The Elks golf league
The golf league will be back in action on Tuesday April 23 at Hillcrest GC. Tee times are from 4:30 to 5:30. Come on out even if you don’t have a foursome. We can put you with someone else to fill out their foursome. See Tony Fleck with any questions.
25 year club banquet
Tuesday June 11 is the annual 25 year club banquet. Details to come!
Golf Outing at Sycamore Springs
Sunday June 23 is our annual lodge golf outing at Sycamore Springs. We need you to form your foursome for a great afternoon of golf. We will feed you with a steak dinner and there will be a swag bag and other goodies to win. See Jeff Jenson with any questions.
Honor Flight fund-raiser
Saturday July 13 the annual fund raiser for the lodge and we need to get Honor Flight fund-raiser. Playing again this year will be the world renowned Reunion Band. OK just Findlay renowned but its going to be a big party and you should come on out and support Honor Flight.
Malibu Bay playing at the Lodge
Saturday August 10 come to the lodge and party with Malibu Bay. They have a great following and put on an awesome show. Don’t get here late or you may not get a spot to sit. Ticket pricing to be announced soon. See Rich Palmer with any questions.
Ohio Elks Association Golf Outing
Saturday/Sunday September 7-8 we are hosting the Ohio Elks Association Golf Outing. We are looking to have as many as 200 golfers playing Hillcrest GC Saturday and Sycamore Springs GC on Sunday. Most of those people will be having a great time at the lodge Friday and Saturday evenings. Live music will be here both evenings. The entry fee is $130 which will get you 36 holes of golf, cart, lunch both days and a steak or chicken dinner on Saturday evening. We need to have our lodge form some teams so we can have a good presence. We will also need plenty of volunteers to pull this off. See Jeff Jenson with any questions.
Purse Bingo
Saturday October 5 is the annual Purse Bingo Event. More details to come!
KENO
Did you know that the lodge now has Keno? That’s right if you love keno, you can play it at your Findlay Elks Lodge! Along with keno you can get your power ball and mega million tickets and all sorts of fun games. It’s fun come and give it a try!
Dues are Due
Just a quick reminder that if you haven’t paid your dues yet, you should do so quickly. April 1 is when they are due and there are currently 98 of you that haven’t paid yet. The lodge depends on dues income to do the great things in the community that we are known for. If you don’t pay your dues then you aren’t eligible to win any of the drawings in the lodge. Some of them are over $1000.

The Elks always remember and honor our members who have passed away. Please remember in your prayers the friends and families of these great Elks who have passed away since last November 1, 2023.

Join the Thursday Night club!
We have many numbers available for you or your spouse. Yes, your spouse! It has been decided that you may purchase numbers for your spouse so they can also participate in the Thursday night club drawings and the Prime rib dinner/reverse raffle on election night. 51 chances a year to win $100, a free dinner, and an opportunity to win big money- all this for just $1 a week!
Have your name on a brick at the Lodge
Here is your chance to support the Elks and have your name around the building forever! Remember when we sold paver bricks to raise money for the building way back when? Well they have now been installed in front of the building by the flagpoles. They look amazing come and check them out. We are now accepting new paver orders so you can get your name etched in immortality. The cost is only $150. Here is the form to fill out and send in with your check. Lets fill up that area!
Ladies Bridge League
The Ladies Bridge league plays Mondays at 1:00 pm in the lounge. If you have questions contact Cindy Fitzpatrick.
Poker Tournament
On the third Saturday of each month there is a poker tournament in the afternoon. $40 Buy In – $10 Bounty. Starting time is 1:30 PM. See Sid for details.
