Pool Rates will go up in March – Join Now at 2022 Rates!
New pool rates will be in effect March 1. To attract more lifeguards, we had to increase their pay. This in turn has caused us to raise our rates. Last year’s rates will be in effect until March 1. We are changing the pool hours slightly to accommodate our working members and to get away from the lunch hour. Below is the rate schedule. Consider joining the elks to save some money and get club membership privileges. Click Here to join now.
2023 Elks Calendars on sale now!
This is your chance to make money! They also make for GREAT Christmas gifts (stocking stuffers). They cost $20 each and are tied to the Ohio Pick 4 lottery. $5 of that $20 stays in our lodge to support the great things we do in the community. If the number on your calendar is drawn for the Pick 4, then you are a winner. You have 530 chances to win anywhere from $50 to $500. And the best part is you don’t need to keep track of anything. If you are a winner the money gets sent right to your house. I won just last month, you can too! You can get them from Jeff Jenseor from behind the bar.
Join the Thursday Night club!
We have many numbers available for you or your spouse. Yes, your spouse! It has been decided that you may purchase numbers for your spouse so they can also participate in the Thursday night club drawings and the Prime rib dinner/reverse raffle on election night. 51 chances a year to win $100, a free dinner, and an opportunity to win big money- all this for just $1 a week!
The annual dues bill will have changes this year IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
For the past couple of years we have been using a company hired by the Grand Lodge to bill delinquent members. So far everything has run very smoothly. This company (OSG) does all the work for us and the postage is about half of a regular stamp. We are now going to use OSG to do the initial billing of member dues in late January. You will still be able to buy the extra things many of you are used to such as charity tickets, calendars donations to ENF, CP and FESF. It will cause a little more work for me to fill out the charity tickets and other things, but I assure you that I will be up to the task. If you have any question please let me know.
Elimination of half year dues payment option and assessment increase. We are now accepting full year payment of dues only. There were relatively few who paid for a half year anyway, This will make keeping track of dues payments so much easier. And so you know, full year dues for regular members are increasing five dollars to $145. Life member dues are increasing to $85. This is due to an increase from Grand Lodge’s assessments. They have been hit hard recently by lawsuits from lodges that have over served alcohol to members and then they got into an accident on the way home. This IS NOT something we can do anything about.
Have your name on a brick at the Lodge
Here is your chance to support the Elks and have your name around the building forever! Remember when we sold paver bricks to raise money for the building way back when? Well they have now been installed in front of the building by the flagpoles. They look amazing come and check them out. We are now accepting new paver orders so you can get your name etched in immortality. The cost is only $150. Here is the form to fill out and send in with your check. Lets fill up that area!
